Marc’s original ‘Strand’ series of paintings are the inspiration taken from his ‘Book of Skies’, the small sketchbook that has accompanied him for many years on his daily walks to the beach on the Suffolk coast where he grew up, and where he swims most days, year round. Along with observations of a day, a moment in time, each page depicts a small sketch of the vast Suffolk sky and meticulous detail of which his iconic paintings have become well known for.
