12th January (Strand)

Southwold born artist Marc Brown’s ‘Strand’ paintings are inspired solely by his daily early morning walks to the beach where he swims, sketches and takes inspiration from the ever changing natural surroundings of the North Sea and the Suffolk coastline. An all year round ritual that he has observed and noted in the form of small sketch books for many years. The ‘Strand’ series are the direct result of those daily sketches.
