Having trained as a craftsman, Tom Staddon’s beautiful carvings display an exciting combination of highly skilled workmanship with a creative approach to design and form. Being influenced by various creative periods of furniture design and sculpture, Tom aims to create a new style that will enthuse people about traditional crafts in a modern environment.

After graduating from the City & Guilds of London Art School with a degree in Woodcarving & Gilding, Tom has worked on numerous prestigious and high profile projects including the Greek Cathedral Dome, Queensway; Windsor Castle; St. James Chapel; Clarence House; Petworth House and Ditchley Park. Tom also designs, constructs and carves bespoke furniture for organisations as well as individual clients.

More recently, Tom worked on the restoration of the Carved Room at Petworth House for the return of the six Turner paintings from the National Gallery. In 2008, Tom became a member of the Suffolk Crafts Society.
