Ruth Lyne creates her glass pieces in her own studios based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Often working in with mixed media, including aluminium and copper leaf and fine wire, Ruth creates extremely subtle coloured layers that are fused together by heating the glass to melting point. Ruth often re-heats the decorative pieces in a kiln and shapes them adding a three-dimensional quality in the process.
