Emma Brownjohn has enjoyed working as a freelance illustrator, painter and muralist since graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 1992. The books she has illustrated have been published by Penguin, Tango, Chrysalis and The Ivy Press. Other published commissions include The Independent, The Daily Mail and Waitrose. Now settled in Brighton for a while, Emma is concentrating on documenting the effect of the changing seasons on the beautiful Sussex landscape.
Liz Toole graduated with a degree from the Cardiff Institute in 1996, and then embarked on an extensive tour of Africa. Often painting on recycled/reclaimed material, her recent work has depicted imaginary landscapes that have a mysterious, timeless quality. Trees take on almost human attributes, creating a rather emotional atmosphere.
