Ian MacCulloch's evocative portraits of the English landscape and its wildlife have appeared in numerous exhibitions in the UK including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Royal Watercolour Society at Bankside Gallery and has appeared on national and regional television.
Ian finds trees particularly interesting and his work often features various types captured in the atmospheric light of dawn and dusk resulting in a soft and quite haunting image. The Hare is also a popular subject, and he manages to capture the character of these enigmatic creatures extremely well. Each of his etchings are individually coloured giving each print a unique character and atmosphere. Ian lives and works in rural Northamptonshire.
