Dawn Stacey’s paintings evolve from walks or journeys where she collects imagery by gathering mementos or objects and by translating certain atmosphere’s through colour. Dawn uses these as a source for building layers of decorative surfaces through collage.

Dawn graduated from Brighton University with a Masters Degree and has since worked full time as a professional artist from her garden studio in East Sussex.

Many of the paintings we have depict Southwold and its environs and have been painted specially for the gallery.
