Catherine Sewell trained and worked as a gilder for a London gallery, but has more recently been working as a printmaker. Her methods include lino, collagraph and monoprinting. The sea has always been a source of inspiration and through these varied mediums she creates simple, fun images which reflect the refreshing freedom of coastal life.
Catherine has a family house in Southwold where she has been a regular visitor since childhood. She lives in the heart of rural Kent with her four children and two dogs
