Mary Rose draws inspiration from her need to make a home cheerful using colour and pattern to create sculptural pieces of pottery to light up interior spaces.

Artist Biography
Mary Rose was born in Uxbridge, UK. She studied Art at Cheltenham and then Wolverhampton Art College specialising in Ceramics, gaining a 1st Class Honours Degree. She began selling her distinctive work in the 80’s at street markets in Bristol, and then set up her first workshop. Her work soon attracting attention, she began to receive orders from overseas. Gaining recognition from the world over, a highly successful career followed and she continues to sell and exhibit her vivid, elaborate and collectable pieces across the globe. She has featured in the pages of publications such as Metropolitan Home, World of Interiors, Elle Decoracion, Schöner Wohnen and The Daily Telegraph Interiors magazine. She still lives and works surrounded by the beauty of the Forest of Dean in the UK.
