From an early age Martin had a fascination with the bright lights of the fairground and the circus. He creates his bright and colourful works to lighten up a space, often using genuine and traditional fairground light bulbs for authenticity. All his pieces are hand cut on a scroll saw and then hand painted. He uses recycled materials wherever possible. His unique and fun works evoke childhood memories of a trip to the funfair, a seaside holiday or the circus….!

Artist Biography
Martin had no formal training but always had a keen artistic interest. After completing his first commission for a fairground sign some years ago, he has been making and selling them successfully ever since. His commissions have been sought throughout the UK, including the bright lit bars throughout the city of London, and throughout Europe. He has been successfully exhibiting at Serena Hall Gallery for a number of years.
