J J Vincent
East Anglian potter J J Vincent individually hand crafts each of his characterful creatures with stoneware clay and then finishes with stains and oxides. He describes his aim as achieving “a certain degree of realism but with the emphasis on character.” This is demonstrated perfectly in his wonderfully popular hares, each and every one different and with it’s own character.

Artist Biography
J J Vincent was born in Cambridge, UK. He has worked in electronics design, print plate making and graphic design. In 2004 he branched into the world of sculptural ceramics, embarking on a successful career exhibiting, selling and commissioning his stoneware animals. He is a member of Anglian Potters.
